UltraTech 9872 HydroKleen, 34" - 48" Flat Frame

The UltraTech 9872 is the large-format flat frame configuration of the Ultra-HydroKleen catch basin filter, custom-fitted for catch basins with drain openings between 34" and 48" in diameter. Unlike the recessed frame models, the flat frame sits level across the top of the catch basin opening, making it the preferred choice where the catch basin ledge geometry is not suited for a recessed installation. As a patented true filter verified by the EPA's ETV program, it forces stormwater through up to three separate filter chambers before discharge — removing hydrocarbons, heavy metals, sediments, phosphorous, nitrogen, and other organics from stormwater and industrial runoff.

• Flat Frame for Large Catch Basins – Custom-fitted flat frame sits level across the catch basin opening for drain sizes between 34" and 48" (863 mm – 1,219 mm); available for round or square grate configurations with custom sizes available upon request
• True Multi-Stage Filtration – Patented separate-chamber design forces water through up to three different filter media bags before discharge, exceeding 80% sediment removal efficiency and targeting hydrocarbons, heavy metals, phosphorous, and other organics simultaneously
• Mix-and-Match Media Compatibility – Supports Sorb-44 (Part #9462), Activated Carbon (Part #9463), PhosFilter (Part #9461), and Heavy Metal Media (Part #9460); filter media bags are sold separately and must be ordered based on site-specific pollutant profile
• High-Flow Bypass System – Integrated bypass prevents ponding or flooding during high-flow storm events, maintaining full drainage function even when filter media approaches capacity
• Optional Sampling Capability – Compatible with the sampling option (Part #9876), which must be ordered with the unit at time of purchase and cannot be retrofitted; works with the Ultra-Universal Sampler (Part #8247, sold separately) for post-treatment effluent monitoring
