The UltraTech 9454 Filter Sock, HMRM 1.0 is an above-drain stormwater filtration device engineered to remove dissolved heavy metals from runoff before discharge into storm drains, waterways, and municipal drainage systems. A durable woven polymer casing contains HMRM 1.0 (Heavy Metal Removal Media), allowing water to flow through while capturing contaminants such as zinc, lead, copper, and other harmful heavy metals. The 9-foot-long configuration can be used individually or combined with additional filter socks to create extended treatment barriers for industrial, commercial, and municipal stormwater management programs.
- Heavy Metal Removal Media – Custom HMRM 1.0 filtration media is designed to remove zinc, lead, copper, and other dissolved heavy metals commonly found in industrial and urban stormwater runoff
- Above-Drain Stormwater Treatment – Designed for placement in front of storm drains, around downspouts, in gullies, ditches, and other runoff collection areas where pollutant control is required
- High Flow-Through Construction – Woven polymer geotextile casing allows stormwater to pass through quickly while maintaining contact with the filtration media
