The UltraTech 9862 Grate Guard, Sediment Model is a high-flow curb-style stormwater inlet protection device designed for 24" x 48" flat grate catch basins. It slides over the grate and uses heavy-duty hook-and-loop fasteners to secure a high-flow woven sediment filter that keeps maintenance at street level. Sediment-only construction with a curb deflector and no overflow ports provides controlled sediment capture while allowing runoff to pass through in curb-inlet applications.
- 24" x 48" Grate Coverage – Sized to fit 24" x 48" (610 x 1,219 mm) storm drain grates, providing full curb-style coverage for sediment and debris control.
- Curb-Style with 56" Deflector – Includes an extended curb deflector section (56") to capture runoff along the curb line and direct flow into the filter area.
- High-Flow Sediment-Only Construction – High-flow woven filtration media allows stormwater to pass while capturing sediment, silt, and debris, with no integrated oil absorbent media and no overflow ports.
- Hook-and-Loop Grate Attachment – Slides onto the storm drain grate and is secured with heavy-duty hook-and-loop fasteners, allowing cleaning at street level without grate removal.
