The UltraTech 9861 Grate Guard, Sediment Model is a high-flow curb-style stormwater inlet protection device designed for 24" x 40" flat grate catch basins. It slides over the grate and uses heavy-duty hook-and-loop fasteners to secure a high-flow woven sediment filter, allowing maintenance to be performed at street level without removing the grate. Configured as a sediment-only, curb-style model with no overflow ports, it provides controlled sediment capture for curb-inlet drainage inlets while maintaining stormwater flow.
- 24" x 40" Grate Coverage – Sized to fit 24" x 40" (610 x 1,016 mm) storm drain grates, providing full curb-style coverage for sediment and debris control.
- Curb-Style with Deflector Section – Curb-style configuration incorporates a curbside extension (48" curb deflector per product title) to intercept runoff along the curb and direct it into the filter area.
