The UltraTech 9860 Grate Guard, Sediment Model is a high-flow curb-style stormwater inlet protection device designed for 24" x 36" flat grate catch basins. It slides directly onto the storm drain grate and uses heavy-duty hook-and-loop fasteners to secure a high-flow woven sediment filter so that cleaning and maintenance can be performed at street level without removing the grate. Configured as a sediment-only, curb-style model with no overflow ports, it provides controlled sediment capture while maintaining stormwater flow at curb-inlet drainage points.
- 24" x 36" Grate Coverage – Sized to fit 24" x 36" (610 x 914 mm) storm drain grates, providing full curb-style coverage for sediment and debris control at flat grate catch basins.
- Curb-Style with 44" Deflector – Curb-side extension with a 44" curb deflector (per product configuration) intercepts runoff along the curb line and directs flow into the filter area for improved capture efficiency.
- High-Flow Sediment-Only Design – High-flow woven filtration media allows stormwater to pass through while capturing sediment, silt, and debris, with no integrated oil-absorbent media and no overflow ports.
