UltraTech 9850 is a 24" x 24" x 4" high-flow Ultra-Grate Guard for flat catch basin grates, built to capture sediment and debris while providing overflow capacity for heavy storm events. It uses a high-flow woven polypropylene fabric with hook-and-loop closure so the unit slides over the grate, keeps pollutants at street level, and can be cleaned without removing the grate.
- Sediment-Only High-Flow Model – Configured as a “Sediment Only Model, High Flow w/ Overflows” to allow increased stormwater throughput while retaining sediment, silt, and debris.
- 24" x 24" x 4" Catch Basin Coverage – Sized for 24" x 24" flat grate catch basins (609.6 x 609.6 mm) with a 4" (101.6 mm) depth for sediment storage volume at the inlet.
- High-Flow Woven Polypropylene Fabric – Manufactured from high-flow woven polypropylene geotextile with tested tensile strength, puncture resistance, and flow characteristics for stormwater filtration.
- Hook-and-Loop Closure Attachment – Slides onto the storm drain grate and secures with heavy-duty hook-and-loop fasteners so the unit stays in place but can be removed and reinstalled without tools.
- Street-Level Sediment Cleanout – Keeps sediment, dirt, and debris at street level where they can be removed with a broom or flat shovel, reducing the need to lift the grate and helping support stormwater BMP programs.
