The UltraTech 9277-SED Grate Guard is a sediment-only inlet protection device for flat grate catch basins, using a high-flow woven polypropylene filter panel in a 24" x 40" x 4" configuration. It captures sediment, silt, and debris at street level while allowing stormwater to pass through the fabric and into the catch basin. The unit slides over the grate and is secured with hook-and-loop closure, so accumulated material can be cleaned with standard tools without lifting the grate.
