The UltraTech 9274-SED Grate Guard is a sediment-only inlet protection device for flat grate catch basins, built with a high-flow woven polypropylene filter panel in a 28" x 28" x 4" format. It captures sediment, silt, and debris at street level while allowing runoff to pass through the fabric and into the catch basin. The unit installs by sliding over the grate and fastening with hook-and-loop closure, so captured material can be cleaned with standard tools without lifting the grate.
