The UltraTech 9273-SED Grate Guard is a sediment-only inlet protection device for flat grate catch basins, built around a high-flow woven polypropylene filter panel in a 24" x 24" x 4" format. It captures sediment, silt, and debris at street level while allowing runoff to pass through the fabric and into the catch basin. The unit slides over the grate and is secured with hook-and-loop closure, so captured material can be removed with a broom or flat shovel without lifting or removing the grate.
