The UltraTech 8494 Ground Tarp Plus is a heavy-duty protective liner designed for placement beneath spill containment berms and temporary containment systems. Constructed from a 130 mil polypropylene composite with multiple barrier layers and an absorbent top surface, it provides enhanced puncture and tear resistance while helping capture nuisance leaks, drips, and spills before they reach the ground. The tarp is engineered for demanding industrial environments, including oil fields, drilling sites, and other locations with rough or rocky terrain.
- 130 mil Composite Construction – Polypropylene composite consists of three barrier films sandwiched between two layers of needle-punched geotextile with heat-fused surfaces for enhanced durability
- Absorbent Top Layer – Absorbs nuisance leaks, drips, and spills on contact while embedded barrier films help prevent liquids from reaching the ground
- Enhanced Puncture and Tear Resistance – Offers approximately 3X greater tear resistance and 5X greater puncture resistance than standard 30 mil HDPE liners
- Protects Containment Berms – Installed beneath containment berms to help prevent punctures, tears, and abrasion caused by rocks, debris, and uneven ground conditions
